Goldex Continues Work at the El Pato Project, Guatemala
April 27, 2007
Vancouver, April 27, 2007 – Goldex Resources Corporation (TSX-V: GDX) (www.goldex.ca) high-grade gold float samples found in the Plan de Guineo sector. The Company continues exploration to pinpoint the location and source of the samples. The Au +Ag-Pb-Zn style of mineralization seen in the float samples, if found “in place” could add significant value to the prospect. Results of the Goldex sampling are found in the table below.

Also, Goldex is pleased to announce additional drilling results from its El Pato Project in Guatemala. Results for the last two holes drilled as part of the confirmation drilling in the main El Pato zone have now been received and the Company will be in a position to report subsequent drill results in the next two to three weeks.
Drill holes GDX-06 and GDX-08 were drilled in the Cerrito West sector of the main El Pato zone and tested within, or proximal to, blocks of gold mineralization identified by previous holes drilled by the United Nations (U.N.) and Guatemalan government (D.G.M.) during the period 1985 through 1991.
Hole GDX-06 was drilled vertical and confirmed the presence of mineralization within the block defined by United Nations holes DHP-25, DHP-26 and DHP-31. Hole GDX-08 was also drilled vertical and collard 30 meters to the north of a mineralized block defined by United Nations holes DHP-02, DHP-03 and DHP-27. GDX-08 was designed to test for a mineralized structure that would represent down-dip continuation to the north.
Results of Goldex holes GDX-06 and GDX-08 and the previous United Nations drilling are shown in the table below and the mineralized intervals reported are “core intercept” lengths.

Gold mineralization at Cerrito West is hosted by north to northeast-dipping low-angle planar silicified shear structures within a regional granitic batholith. Four target areas or “sectors” make up the main El Pato zone and from west to east are named Agua Zarca, Cerrito West, Cerrito and Quebrada El Roque. A drill hole plan map showing the completed Goldex drill holes and all previous U.N and DGM drilling can be viewed on the Goldex website at (www.goldex.ca/projects/elpato/).
Analytical work for the current exploration program is being done by BSI Inspectorate of Reno, Nevada, an ISO certified lab, and all samples are delivered to the BSI sample preparation lab in Guatemala City by Goldex.
