Kornze appointed as VP of Exploration

Vancouver, October 24, 2007 Goldex Resources Corporation (TSX-V: GDX) (G6T- FSE) Goldex Resources appoints Larry Kornze as VP of Exploration.

Mr. Kornze has been a director of Goldex since July 10, 2006 and is eager to increase his role in the company.  Mr. Kornze is a skilled geologist with over 30 years of experience in mining and exploration and is also a qualified person under 43-101 regulations. Mr. Kornze has explored for gold and other precious minerals extensively throughout North, Central and South America, as well as Europe and China.

As a previous Regional Manager for Barrick Gold, Mr. Kornze is especially skilled in gold exploration in Mexico and Central America, both areas of operation for Goldex Resources.

Larry Kornze is very active in the mining community and is a member of the Geological Society of Nevada, the Society of Mining Engineers and Metallurgist of AIME, the BC Chamber of Mines, and the Prospector’s and Developer’s Association.

Mr. Kornze is “excited to join such an experienced and interesting group”.
